You rolled out of bed this morning, starving. You need to be on the road in 20 minutes, or you’ll be late. Cooking breakfast will take time, and it will generate a sink of dirty dishes for which you don’t have time. You could just do them when you get back. But there’s nothing surer to put you in a bad mood than arriving home starving, ready for dinner, but you have to clean your dirty breakfast dishes before you can make dinner.
Fearing foul fowl, we turn to an old method with great results. Here's how we made a brine, and tested it with a chicken to prepare for brining a turkey.
These are some recipes that we’ve tried and really like. You'll need a decent blender (we love our Vitamix!) but otherwise they're very simple and taste great with our fresh produce.
There are tons of excellent recipes on the vitamix website which we're sure you’ll enjoy. If you don't have a vitamix, you may just need to cut your ingredients up a little smaller.

Note: We use Braggs Liquid Aminos instead of soy sauce. Much healthier and I think it tastes better. You can get this at WholeFoods or in most health food stores. Some Publix location have begun to stock it as well.
